Hello! My name is Dayna and I am the General Manager of Nature’s Inn Kenora.

On the hunt for a part-time job in October of 2019 I arrived at Nature’s Inn with my resume in hand. I had worked in the hospitality industry previously but never in lodging and was looking for something that would fit my skillset but still teach me some new things. It is now 3.5 years later, and I am still enjoying what I do and the ladies that I work with. I would definitely not be able to do it without them! We all bring our own set of skills that make things work so wonderfully and ultimately have many happy guests that continue to return.

I am not originally from Kenora, but I have spent several years and summers here and absolutely love the “lake life”. Being in or on the water is my favourite place to be in the warmer months and I encourage all guests to check out the beaches when they are in the area. For a bit of exercise on land you will most likely find me exploring Vernon Nature Area or volunteering at Homerun Gardens in Keewatin. This past year I was able to get to my very first Trylight Theater production which was absolutely amazing. My current goal is to attend at least one of the Kenora Concert Series performances. My hope is that our guests get to experience what the area has to offer but if it’s just a quick trip through town I at least hope they get a picture with Husky the Muskie!
